A necklace that was handcrafted with care
Small, primarily carnivorous lizards called geckos can be found on every continent but Antarctica. Geckos, classified as infraorder Gekkota, are ubiquitous throughout the world’s warm regions. The distances covered are between 1.6 and 60 centimeters (0.6 to 23.6 inches). Gecko species have distinct calls that set them apart from other lizards. Most geckos in the family Gekkonidae communicate with one another by chirping or clicking noises. Some species of geckos, such as the tokay gecko (Gekko gecko), can make hissing noises when they feel threatened. With almost 1,500 distinct species, they have the most incredible diversity of any lizard family.
