Celtic Mink Jewelry & Treasures Inc. is a small, independent jewelry studio owned and operated by Kathy Gallagher in Columbus, Ohio. Inspired by her Irish heritage and a lifelong love of animals, Kathy designs and handcrafts every piece herself.  Because of our long efforts in animal rescue,  We DON’T USE FUR, FEATHER OR ANIMAL PARTS IN OUR JEWELRY.  We use metal, glass and gemstones only.

Meet Kathy

Kathy discovered jewelry making later in life, but it quickly became an essential part of who she is. What began as a hobby – simple pieces inspired by regional art and culture – grew into a full jewelry line sold on Facebook, Etsy, Poshmark, Amazon and other platforms.

With support and encouragement from close friends, Kathy turned Celtic Mink Jewelry into a business in 2014. Today she combines:

  • Glass beads from around the world
  • Semi-precious gemstones and chips
  • Freshwater pearls
  • Detailed charms and metalwork
  • Chainmail techniques

to create jewelry that is both wearable and imaginative – pieces you won’t find anywhere else.

Why “Celtic Mink Jewelry”?

The name honors two things Kathy loves deeply: her Irish roots and her ten pet mink (from 2000 to 2020), who inspired the brand and often spark new ideas. Her animal companions are part muse, part motivation – and a reminder that animals deserve care and protection.

Many of our designs are influenced by Celtic motifs, mythology, and nature – dragons, foxes, wolves, river otters, and more. You’ll also find fantasy themes perfect for gamers, dreamers, and anyone who loves a touch of magic.
