A: I do resell select, clearly labeled, mass‑produced jewelry.I do sell keychains that aren’t handmade.  I can decorate them.

  • Yes. Every handmade piece of handmade is clearly labeled
  • All handmade jewelry in my shop is designed and made by me in my workspace in Columbus, Ohio.
  • I select the beads, charms, and findings
  • Plan the design
  • I assemble each piece myself.

Q: What materials do you use in your jewelry?

A: I work with a mix of

  • Semi‑precious gemstones
  • Freshwater pearls
  • Glass beads from around the world
  • Acrylic beads
  •  Metal beads
  •  Detailed charms, and
  • Metal chains and findings
  • Chainmail weaves

Each item’s description lists the main materials used so you know exactly what you’re getting.

We don’t use fur feather or animal parts in our jewelry

Q I read an Artificial Intelligence (AI) description of your products that says you use mink fur in your products.  Why does it say that?

Despite the name “Celtic Mink Jewelry,” our pieces do not contain mink fur or animal fur. “Mink” is part of our brand identity only.

Q: Are your gemstones and pearls real?

A:  I describe something as a gemstone or a freshwater pearl; it is genuine.

Each product description will tell you whether a component is natural stone, glass, crystal, or another material.

Glass beads and crystal for color and sparkle.

Q: Why don’t I see stretch bracelets made of elastic?

A: Elastic frays, wears out and breaks at the most inconvenient  times

  • I use memory wire.  It’s made of stainless steel.
  • Memory wire is like a spring. It keeps its shape and fits any size wrist. No clasp.
  • Ask for a clasp and a safety chain. Great for those with hand problems, the differently abled or the disabled.

Q: Are your pieces one of a kind (OOAK)

A: Many of my designs are truly one of a kind  (OOAK)

If a piece is one of a kind  (OOAK), once it sells, there won’t be a replacement

. For some designs, I can make similar versions with different colors or stones

. Feel free to ask if you see something you love.

Q: Are your earrings and findings nickel‑free or hypoallergenic?

A: I use stainless steel and sterling silver ear wires.

Our ear wires are nickel‑free.

Our ear wires aren’t hypoallergenic. I can order them for you.

However, metal sensitivities can vary. If you have very sensitive skin or specific metal needs, please contact me before you order.

I’ll let you know what metals are used and what alternatives I can offer.

Q: Do you offer custom jewelry designs?

A: My pieces are designed for everyday wear

Not just to be admired or kept in a box.

I use strong beading wire, quality findings and secure finishing techniques.

That said, handmade jewelry is still more delicate than machine‑made mass‑market pieces.

I recommend removing all jewelry before sleeping, showering, swimming, or engaging in heavy activity to help it last longer

,Q: Do you offer custom jewelry designs?

A: Yes, I love creating custom pieces.

  •  I will work with you to bring your vision to life

  • Budget
  • Any reference pieces from my shop.
  • I’ll suggest materials and design ideas, then provide a quote.
  • Once we agree on the design and payment,
  •  I’ll create your piece and send photos for approval before shipping.
  •  I require a non-refundable deposit to cover the cost of materials.

A: Often, yes. If you see a piece you like but want a different color, length, or charm,

  •  I’ll let you know what’s possible and suggest alternatives if needed.
  • We don’t recreate other artists’ creations.

Q: How long do custom orders take?

A: Custom order timelines depend on design complexity and material availability.

  • In general, please allow approximately
  • 1 to 2 weeks to obtain materials I don’t keep on hand.
  • From the time I finalize your design until your piece ships,
  • the minimum is 2 to 6 weeks.
  • If you have a specific deadline (a birthday, convention, etc.),
  • Let me know up front, and I’ll let you know if I can meet it.

Q: Can you design jewelry inspired by my pet or favorite animal?

A: Absolutely.

Many of my designs feature animals and fantasy creatures.

If you’d like a piece inspired by a beloved pet or a favorite animal, tell me about them (or send a photo),

I’ll suggest charms, colors, and styles that fit.

I offer hand-painted charms.

Sizing, Fit & Adjustments

Q: How do I choose the right necklace length?

A: Necklace lengths can feel different depending on your body and clothing. As a general guide,

  • 16–18 inches usually sit near the collarbone,
  • 20–22 inches by the upper chest,
  • And 36  longer lengths fall lower.

If you’re not sure, measure a necklace you already like or reach out to me, and I’ll help you choose a length that works for you.

  • My standard charm necklaces are 18 inches.  We add a 2 inch extender chain.
  •  I can cut the chain in-house to meet your request.
  • My beaded necklaces are about 20 inches with a 2 inch extender chain.

Q: Can you adjust the length of a necklace or bracelet?

A: In many cases, yes.

  • We can often add or remove chain links or beads to adjust the length within reason.
  • Some designs are more flexible than others,
  • So please contact me before ordering if you know you need a specific size.

To measure bracelet size, wrap a flexible measuring tape or string snugly around your wrist bone, mark the overlap, then measure the length with a ruler.

Add 0.5-1 inch (1.25–2.5 cm) to this measurement for comfort, or up to 1.25 inches for a looser fit.

Standard sizes generally follow a 6–7.5 inch range

Q: Can you make earrings with different ear wires (clip‑on, lever‑back, etc.)?

A: For many earring designs, I can swap the ear wires to lever‑backs or to clip‑ons, depending on the components.

If you need a different style for comfort or sensitivity reasons, message me before purchasing, and I’ll let you know what’s possible and whether there is any price difference.

The ear wires I keep on hand are stainless steel. I can order other types of ear wires, such as gold and silver or hypoallergenic metals

Q: What if my jewelry doesn’t fit quite right when it arrives?

A: If your piece arrives and the fit is off, please contact me within 7 days of delivery.

  • In many cases, I can adjust or resize for you.
  • The easiest and quickest way is to offer an extender chain that is longer than 2 inches.
  • Some changes may require a fee and return shipping, depending on the work involved.
